Energy Rebates & Loans

Clay Electric now offers rebates for ceiling insulation and the installation of high efficiency heat pumps, solar water heating systems, window film, spray foam insulation, heat pump water heaters and heat recovery units (HRUs). We also offer low interest loans to help members finance energy efficiency improvements for their homes.

The GenerLink emergency transfer switch provides a quick, safe and easy way for you to connect portable generators to your home’s electric system.

Solar Power

Photovoltaic systems generate electricity for home use and excess power is returned to Clay's distribution system. Using a special meter, the co-op records the amount of electricity returned to its system.

Want an easy way to see how much energy your appliances are using? Clay Electric has teamed with local public library districts in Alachua, Baker, Bradford, Clay, Columbia, Lake & Union counties to make Kill A Watt meters available for checkout.
