Kill A Watt Library Program

Want an easy way to see how much energy your appliances are using? Clay Electric has teamed with local public library districts in Alachua, Baker, Bradford, Clay, Columbia, Lake & Union counties to make Kill A Watt meters available for checkout.  Simply connect your appliances to the Kill A Watt meter to find out how many kilowatt hours it takes to run them.  You can calculate your electrical expenses by the day, week, month, or even an entire year. You also can check the quality of your power by monitoring voltage, line frequency, and power factor. Now you´ll know if it is time for a new refrigerator or if that old air conditioner is still saving you money! See the checkout desk at your local library for details.
