MyClayElectric, not Outage Map, is best way to monitor your outage

The best way to report and track an outage at the address of your home or business is through MyClayElectric.

The Outage Map is a solid tool that shows the overall number of outages in the system, but it's not pinpoint-exact. In other words, if you're trying to zoom in on your exact residence and don't see it included on the outage map, don't worry. Chances are if it's close to a recognized outage, we know you're out.

There are ways to make sure we're working on your outage, but asking or reporting an outage in a comment on Facebook is the least effective way. The best way is to check on your outage is via the MyClayElectric app, which we repeatedly advised members to download before the storm made landfall. It will allow you to report an outage and the app will tell you when we're working on it.

You might receive an additional email reporting a new outage. This could happen as crews work to restore your original outage and it doesn't mean there was an issue restoring your power.

The other way to check on an outage or report one is to call 1-888-434-9844. Beware, call volumes will likely be higher than normal.
