Project Hope of Marion County, based in Ocala, provides solutions for homelessness among women and their dependent children. Grant funds will help offset the costs associated with resident housing.
Food4Kids- $10,000

Food4Kids is a volunteer organization in Gainesville that provides food in backpacks to 190 children during the school year. Funding from the grant will be applied to the purchase of food and backpacks.
Putnam County Fair Authority - $5,000

The Putnam County Fair Authority is a board appointed by the Putnam County Commission to oversee the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the fairgrounds and facilities. Also, the annual Putnam County Fair is organized and produced by this board. Funds from the grant will be applied to the purchase of new scales for the Youth Livestock Program.
Pop Smoke K9 for Veterans - $1,500

Pop Smoke K9 for Veterans, based in Ormond Beach, seeks to provide training, support and certification to military veterans in need of a certified K9 to reclaim their independence. Grant funds will help to establish a training facility.

Founded in 1974, the ACORN Clinic uses volunteers to provide high-quality, low-cost health and dental care to low-income patients with and without insurance and with little financial resources to pay for their medical needs. The funds will support the Rural Sponsorship Program, which will provide funding for dental care to rural patients.

The Knights of Columbus Council of Keystone Heights provides support in the community by providing services or products to individuals, families or organizations in need. Grant funds will support the Holiday Helpers program, which will supply toys for children and meet needs of families and seniors during the holidays.

The Bradford County Education Foundation exists to improve the quality of education by increasing community involvement and support for the eight Bradford County Public Schools. Grant funds will support literacy improvement and the purchase of classroom book sets.
Hawthorne Area Resource Center - $10,000

Hawthorne Area Resource Center is a collaborative effort between the First United Methodist Hawthorne and the Episcopal Church of the Holy Communion to serve the most vulnerable population as a food pantry and resource center within Hawthorne and surrounding areas. Funds will be used for food pantry provisions and supplies as well as Social Services support to families in crisis.

Funds will support the expansion of free medical and dental services by providing patients with critical patient care supplies needed for their treatment and wellbeing.
